Bristol Autism Project provides family holiday activities for children and young people aged 4-18 years with Autism Spectrum Conditions and their siblings who live in Bristol.

Families must live in an address in the Bristol Local Authority area to access this service OR they may have a child that attends a special school in Bristol OR be under the care of Bristol Social Care team but live outside Bristol.

A registration form for BAP can be found here: Registration Form BAP

BAP runs free activities Mondays-Fridays in the school holidays, excluding Bank Holidays, with some activities targeted at different age groups (e.g. under/over 11 years).

We are pleased that FACE will be supporting Bristol City Council’s ‘Bristol Autism Project’ holiday activities with staffing for their holiday activity schemes for the next 2+ years.

FACE hosts free coffee mornings or zoom gatherings for parents or carers of children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) who would like to attend Bristol Autism Project in the school holidays – or just want to find out more.

Once you join BAP we can let you know when the next one will be.

These informal events give the members an opportunity to meet other parents/ carers over a cup of coffee (or tea) with an optional sweet treat and share their thoughts, stories and experiences. They are also able to get to know the FACE staff and make bookings for the next holidays.

Lots of fun free activities will be on offer for children and their families through the school holidays supported by FACE during each school holiday.

During Covid19 we are providing an online programme using the website and app 'Seesaw', zoom sessions, postal activity packs, and socially distanced activities such as forestry, picnics & games, adventure playgrounds, city farm visits, cinema screenings, and some limited indoor table-based activities. These are all subject to change due to lockdown rules or new legislation preventing us from bringing people together.

There is an online booking form which needs to be completed to book any of these activities. You must be already registered with BAP to book. The online form can be accessed via the link in the booking information sent to families.

We will not be able to accept bookings unless they are on the online form (or via a paper version of it, if requested from the office).
